The SJU Concert Choir will appear as one of the guest artist ensembles on the Fall Concert Series 2008 at The Church of the Redeemer in Springfield, PA. The Concert Choir is offering this program to help support the "Choral Scholar" scholarship program within the music division of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The programmed choral works span the Romantic through contemporary eras. Please join us for this very exciting concert, on which we will offer 4 USA premieres and 2 World Premieres. The concert is free, but free-will contributions will be gathered to help further fund the "Choral Scholar" scholarship fund.

This workshop will introduce students to active reading strategies which will strengthen comprehension and improve recall of information. Students will explore strategies to implement before, during and after reading as well as examine various text structures to determine the best approach for maximum comprehension.
