Psychology Hall Faculty-Student Lunch. Thursday, September 27 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. LaFarge Lounge. This informal gathering is meant to allow Psychology Hall students to meet Psychology Department faculty. Ideally, the event will launch important faculty-student relationships for advising, mentoring, research and career preparation.
Sleepless at Saint Joseph's. Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. LaFarge Lounge. Presented by Dr. Jodi Mindell, Psychology Department. Are you one of the 60 million Americans who is not getting enough sleep or having problems sleeping? Did you know that lack of sleep has major implications for productivity, health and well-being? Nationally-recognized sleep expert and Professor of Psychology at Saint Joseph's University, Dr. Jodi Mindell, will facilitate this program for students to learn the value of sleep while in college. This program will teach students about the impact of sleeping patterns, ways to improve them and how to feel better the next day. This also will be an excellent opportunity for Psychology Hall students to see first hand the impact the field of psychology can have on a real-life issue.
