Experiential Learning

In the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS), learning is not for spectators. We encourage active engagement rather than the passive absorption of information. We want to stimulate your learning by offering a broad range of experiential education opportunities, both within and outside the traditional classroom. In traditional courses, this can take the form of laboratory or practicum experiences in the sciences and foreign and performance in the arts; field experience in local primary schools as part of your languages; painting, film-making, or music composition education |
courses. Other experiential learning opportunities may take you beyond the
classroom into internships, research, and scholarly work, as well as
service-learning courses, study tours, and semesters abroad. If you would like
