Courses Taught
Dr. Shenk teaches in both the Spanish Program and the Linguistics Program and serves as an advisor for students minoring in Spanish and/or Linguistics.
She regularly teaches courses in First and Second-Year Spanish (1011-1221), Spanish Conversation and Composition (1311-1321), and upper-division courses including Introduction to Spanish Linguistics, Spanish Dialectology, and Language Contact and Politics in the U.S.
She also teaches courses in English on Sociolinguistics and Bilingualism.
