Courses Taught
Dr. Buckley regularly teaches First-Year German (1011-1021), German Conversation and Composition (1311-1321), and upper-division courses on German literature and culture from the mid-eighteenth to the early twentieth century (From the Enlightenment to Realism, From Bismarck to Hitler: 1871-1945, Modernity in the Early Twentieth Century). In addition, he has taught Advanced German Conversation and Composition as well as a course on the fantastic in German literature.

- Swiss-German authors, especially Gottfried Keller
