Graduate Arts and Sciences 

I would like to extend a warm welcome to the graduate program in Gerontological Services at Saint Joseph’s University. Entering its 25 year, the program remains true to its original goals, namely to advance understanding of the aging process and older adults and to train students to contribute to this understanding, to advocate on behalf of older people, and to develop and administer innovative programs and services targeted to their needs. Graduates of the program have established successful careers in the field of aging in a variety of contexts. As the baby boomer generation enters old age, demand for the expertise gained through this program will grow significantly.
