“PRICING AND ACCESS TO DRUGS
IN THE DEVELOPING AND DEVELOPED WORLDS”

This conference provided a forum for serious, reasoned dialogue on the questions surrounding the pharmaceutical industry’s responsibility in assuring public access to needed medication. Our goal was not to presuppose any specific answers to these questions; rather, the goal was to engage various constituencies, notably, healthcare and pharmaceutical industry representatives, academics, the press, and local government officials.
