
Beginning from an historical perspective, this course first traces the roots of the conflict in Northern Ireland. The course further explores dimensions of violence, forgiveness and reconciliation both in Northern Ireland and in the U.S. context. The Spring 2010 course will be a semester-long English/Sociology course taught by Drs. Ann Green and Rob Moore. Course concludes with a two-week immersion experience in Northern Ireland for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
