EARN GRADUATE CREDIT...
Each 2-weekend course awards you 3 graduate credits, by Saint Joseph's University*. Saint Joseph's University is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States and is on a beautiful campus located in the heart of the Philadelphia area. The university is dedicated to the Jesuit ideal of "further development of those people who wish to serve society" and has awarded degrees since 1898.
In PA... these credits are applicable toward the 6 college credits required by Act 48.
In NJ...these credit/hours are applicable to the 100 hours of professional development required every five years by state regulations (Provider #1132)
COURSE REQUIREMENTS...
Graduate credits are awarded after 100% attendance and successful completion of all course work and a back-home action paper/course project, which is due three weeks after the course ends. The paper is 5-10 pages in length and is designed to be an "action plan" for using the strategies you learn in the course in your classroom.
USE YOUR COURSE AS A TAX DEDUCTION...
As an educator, your tuition, meals, travel and lodging expenses may qualify as deductible education expenses under the 1986 Tax Reform Act.
* Credit is approved by the PA Department of Education, for permanent certification and Master's Equivalency.
