Advising

All economics majors are assigned an advisor whose responsibility is to guide and help the student throughout his/her four years at Saint Joseph's University. Advisors are members of the department who view advising as an integral part of their faculty responsibilities and are available to students for advice with course selection, graduate school, career choices and any other matter that might arise. The university also offers a "mentor program" designed to pair juniors and seniors with alumni professionals who can advise them on career possibilities.
