The Executive MBA Programs enable professionals with at least five years of work experience to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in a model that minimizes disruption of career and personal pursuits. The Executive MBA Program within The Haub School of Business is unique in its understanding of the forces that drive modern business. The program has an innovative curriculum, which balances the practical analysis of business issues with the benefits of formal education. The One-Year Executive MBA Program is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in business. To be eligible for this program, students must possess an undergraduate degree in business from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

In addition, Executive MBA students take part in semester-long team projects for certain courses, working with local businesses and non-profit organizations. The Executive MBA Program is a lock-step, cohort based model. Classes typically meet one full day a week, on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. This is an accelerated program in which student's progress together through consecutive semesters.
This section provides you with detailed information about the innovative Haub School of Business curriculum. It includes overviews and course schedules for our streamlined One-Year Program. What's more, all Executive MBA students receive one-on-one Executive Coaching and Leadership Development throughout the entire program.
This program is designed for professionals who have an undergraduate business degree. Students get credit for their previous coursework, which enables them to complete the program in only 12 months. The One-Year Executive MBA Program begins only once a year, and the cohort fills very quickly. The program begins with a short orientation at the end of April, and classes for the One-Year program begin in early May. Class meetings are held one full day a week (from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), on alternating Fridays and Saturdays.
The topics covered in the Executive MBA Programs are similar to those covered in the traditional MBA programs. The courses, however, are designed to take advantage of the business expertise possessed by the executive students. The intensive One-Year Program spans 31 credits and three semesters. This distinctive format provides a convenient alternative to traditional mid-week classes.

Executive MBA students enrolled in the Haub School of Business interface with real CEO's five times throughout the semester, engaging in "Live Interventions.” This real-life case study approach is a powerful educational tool that uses the process of developing solutions and learning about business strategy through a team-centered, face-to-face dialogue with an actual CEO. It is unique to Saint Joseph’s University.
State-of-the-art technology in Mandeville Hall maximizes the learning process. Advanced audiovisual capabilities, exclusive to Saint Joseph’s University through a trademark on the Moot Board Room, integrate technology and make it an integral part of the course structure. With actual CEO visits, Business Policy provides a hands-on experience that moves business learning out of the classroom and into a boardroom setting, which is where our students want to be.
