Eagles Fly for Leukemia Scholarship
Saint Joseph’s University
The Eagles Fly for Leukemia Foundation was founded by the Philadelphia Eagles’ tight end, Mr. Fred Hill, after his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Mr. Hill, along with his teammates, began the quest to raise money desperately needed to support pediatric cancer research. Three decades later, Eagles Fly for Leukemia has been instrumental in raising millions of dollars to assist in the research to abolish leukemia and has been the driving force behind enhancing the lives of children already stricken with the disease. Saint Joseph’s University has joined the fight by granting a full-tuition scholarship to an incoming freshman who has survived cancer in his/her lifetime through strength, courage, and determination.
To apply for the scholarship students must send the application materials to the Admissions Office at Saint Joseph’s University by October 15, 2009.
