1. What forms do I need to complete for Financial Aid at SJU?
- The only required form for financial assistance is the FAFSA.

2. Do you
require the Profile?
- No.
3. When will I receive my Financial
Aid Package from SJU?
- Packages are mailed to all accepted students who have filed a FAFSA at the end of March.
4. When
must I return the Award Letter?
- Award letters must be returned by May 1.
5. Do I
need to do an additional application for state grants?
- If you live in Pennsylvania and have filed the FAFSA before May 1, you are automatically considered for the state grant. No additional form is needed.
- If you live out of state, please check your state office for forms and deadlines.

6. What if my FAFSA doesn't represent my current financial
situation?
- Appeal requests will be accepted after financial aid packages are mailed at the end of March. At that time, the appeal form and full directions will be available on our website.
7. What is the GPA requirement for maintaining a Merit Scholarship?
If you were awarded a Merit Scholarship, you are required to maintain a certain cumulative GPA depending on the level of your award. More information on these requirements can be found in our Merit Scholarship Reduction Policy.
