Paying for College

Paying for college: A matter of dollars and sense.

For many parents, it’s easy to get caught up in the “dollars” part of this equation by looking at a college’s “sticker price” and assuming they will be responsible for the entire figure.

Yet the truth is that many families will qualify for a wide variety of financial assistance—if they will only tap into the information and resources available to them. At Saint Joseph’s University, we are committed to putting these resources at your fingertips, and to making Saint Joseph's education affordable for qualified and deserving students. In fact, in the 2007-2008 academic year, approximately 85

percent of the University’s student body received assistance in the form of academic and athletic scholarships, grants, loans and work-study funds, either singly or in combination.
