Is SJU

for you?

It just might

be if ...

You're not content to sit on the sidelines

You put 100 percent into everything you do (since 110 percent just isn't humanly possible)

You're not afraid to put your ideas out there- or to actively seek out the ideas of others

You love getting absorbed in a great book, a fascinating conversation, an important project or whatever it is that you're doing

You won't let a question rest until you've tracked down the answer

Your mind is quick, your commitment is strong and your enthusiasm is high

Your Next Steps

What are your next steps toward becoming a Hawk?

They’re shorter and easier than you might think. Following is a step-by-step guide to transferring to SJU.

Make sure you have achieved a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). We also require a minimum of 12 transferable credits to be considered a transfer applicant. (If you have previously applied to Saint Joseph’s without acceptance, you must have completed at least 24 transferable credits.)

Complete your application for admission using either the Saint Joseph’s University Application or the Common Application. Supplementary materials should include: your official high school

transcript with date of graduation; an official college transcript from each previously attended institution; a transfer recommendation form; course syllabi from all business-and science-related courses; and a $60 application fee.

Transfer applications are accepted through out the year. Our decisions will be made on a rolling basis. Evaluations will begin in February for the fall semester and in October for the spring semester.

Once you are accepted, register for your first semester at SJU. You will be contacted by an academic advisor to assist you with this process.

Attend the transfer orientation, held each semester before classes start.
