Visit Campus/Events

Don’t just read about SJU—experience it!

Visiting campus is a perfect way to get into the “not for spectator” spirit. When you visit campus, you won’t just be a passive observer; you’ll get to live and breathe the SJU experience by engaging our community and discovering the wide-ranging opportunities we provide. Our visit offerings are extensive. Simply choose the option that best suits you, your schedule and your interests.

Discover SJU Presentations and Campus Tours:
Discover SJU Presentations and campus tours are offered regularly on weekdays and on select Saturdays. These 30-minute presentations will give you and your family the opportunity to learn more about academics, student life and the admissions process at SJU. A campus tour with a Hawk Host will follow. If you would like to make an appointment to visit campus, you may register here.

Saturday visits will include a 'Discover SJU' presentation followed by a tour of the campus. These events will be held on select Saturdays during the school year. Registration begins at 9:30am and locations will be confirmed via email.

Group Visits:
Schools or organizations wishing to bring groups of 10 or more students to campus are welcome to submit an online request form.  Please make requests at least 3 weeks in advance.  Group tours are welcome to visit Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11:30AM - 1:00PM during the academic year.

Ask a Counselor Sessions:
Ask-A-Counselor sessions are available Monday through Friday upon request.  While Saint Joseph’s University does not require an interview as part of our admissions process, these "one-on-one" appointments are available for you and your family should you have detailed questions about the admissions process that would not typically be addressed in a group presentation.  Please call 610-660-1300 or 1-888- BE-A-HAWK for an appointment.

SJU in your Hometown:
Representatives from Saint Joseph's University Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be traveling to various cities to host our annual Regional Receptions. These events will give you the opportunity to hear from members of our student body, meet with SJU alumni and admissions representatives, giving you a better insight about SJU and your next steps towards becoming a Hawk!

Campus Experience Day:
(For admitted students only)
Be a Hawk for a day! We will pair you up with a current student and you will be able to go to class, eat in the dining hall and hang out on campus. This event is also for the parents and guardians; we offer special sessions that address your questions and concerns. Space for these events is limited! Register now!

Admitted Student's Day:
(For admitted students only)
Join us to learn about what it means to be a Hawk at Saint Joseph's University!  You will hear from many members of our campus community, get a chance to explore all of our majors more in-depth, take a tour of campus and residence halls and learn about our campus resources for you - physically, spiritually and academically! Register now!

Open House:
Open Houses are events in which you and your family can experience the spirit of Hawk Hill while touring campus and meeting the faculty and students that make Saint Joseph's soar above the competition.
