Be a part of the transformation when Saint Joseph's University officially opens the new James J. Maguire ’58 Campus with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, September 27.
Saint Joseph’s seeks to be recognized as the preeminent Catholic, Jesuit comprehensive university in the Northeast. The acquisition of a new campus is a giant step toward fulfilling that vision.
The 38-acre Maguire Campus, longtime home of the Episcopal Academy, will add 52 classrooms, eight full laboratories, 113 offices, and 14.5 acres of sports fields to the University’s current 65-acre footprint. In the years to come, the positive impact on academic offerings, student life, athletics, the arts, and community outreach will be immeasurable.
Historically, the addition of the Maguire Campus is the most significant development for Saint Joseph’s since its move from downtown Philadelphia to the current City Avenue location more than 80 years ago. In accordance with the University’s strategic plan, the new campus aims to foster an experience that allows each and every Saint Joseph’s student to best discover their spirit, intellect, and purpose.
