National Day of Service
Faithful to the Ignatian heritage of service and committed to the education of leaders acting for the improvement of the social order, Saint Joseph's University continues today to encourage innovative education programs aimed at improving the quality of life both in the local and global communities. What is National Day of Service? Simply put, SJU alumni and students will conduct a day of service at locations in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Many corporations have done this with great success and we see this as a strong opportunity for us as Hawks to spread our wings in our communities.
