Dennis Sheehan, a 1985 Saint Joseph's graduate, has been active in the Alumni Association since his graduation.  He most recently completed a term as Executive Vice President. In addition to serving on numerous reunion committees and the former Board of Governors, he remains active in the Hawk Hoop Club. Dennis has been heavily involved with the Law Alumni Chapter, previously serving as treasurer and president.

A former Hawk mascot, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University in 1991. He serves on numerous committees related to the Chester County Bar Association, where his law practice resides, and serves on the Development and Annual Fund committees at Saint Dorothy's Parish in Drexel Hill, Pa. He and his wife, Eileen (O'Grady) '85, have been members of the Barbelin Society since 1997. They have a daughter, Mary Cecilia.

Gina Mazzulla graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 1991 with a degree in Sociology. Gina continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania State University, earning an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and a Certificate in Leadership Development.

Gina has served as an active volunteer in the alumni community, most recently holding the post of Vice President of the National Alumni Board. She is the former President of the Young Alumni Association and has been a member of several committees including Reunion and the Hogan and Ignatius Awards. She is a past recipient of the Alumni Association's Ignatius Award.As a student, Gina was involved in the Student Government Association (SGA) and served as the President during her senior year. She also volunteered for Hand in Hand and the Campus Ministry programs. Gina also worked for a period of time in the Ticket Office of the Athletic Department.

Since graduation, Gina has worked in the Philadelphia area for the University of Pennsylvania and the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. In her current position as Director of Marketing for the American Institute for CPCU, Gina is responsible for constructing multi-departmental procedures and communications resulting in a better understanding of internal roles and services and creating opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration. She is also a key member of the management staff, and a significant contributor to organization-wide projects including annual strategic planning, annual CPCU national conferment and an annual performance management system.

Gina also serves as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Good Fellowship Ambulance Club in West Chester, Pennsylvania and is an active member of St. Issac Jogues Church in Valley Forge.

Gina resides in Chesterbrook and is a member of her homeowners association. She is not the only Hawk in her family as her father, Eugene '77 and her sister, Lisa '94, also graduated from Saint Joseph's.

John (Jack) Ginter '93 has served on the Alumni Association since his graduation, including the former Board of Governors. He was active as a member of the Annual Fund Committee, as well as in the Young Alumni Association.  The former SJU rower has been affiliated with Project H.O.M.E. in Philadelphia and currently serves on the development committee. 

Since graduation, Jack has worked in the Philadelphia area for CoreStates, Wells Fargo and Wachovia. In his current position as Senior Vice President, Head of Pennsylvania for U.S. Trust, he oversees the management, growth and overall client services from U.S. Trust's regional headquarters in Philadelphia.   He leads a team of wealth management professionals who provide comprehensive financial services to executives, entrepreneurs, not-for-profit organizations and other clients in the region.

Jack has served as an active volunteer leader in the alumni community, most recently holding the post of Secretary of the National Alumni Board.

Jack resides in Valley Forge with his wife Katie and two children.

John Brennan graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a degree in Political Science in 1969. While a student, John served as President of Lawler Hall during his junior and senior years, and participated in the Rhodes Tutorial Program which brought inner city youth to campus for one on one instruction. He continued his education at Northwestern University, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1973.

Since graduation, John has served as a prosecutor with the Cook County State Attorney's Office in Chicago, IL, where he was Trial Supervisor of the Special Prosecutions Bureau. A native of upstate Shenandoah, he then practiced with a small firm in Pottsville, PA. Thereafter, he was a litigator for nearly 23 years with the Chicago-based, international law firm of Clausen Miller, where he was a partner. He is member of the Leading Lawyers Network, for which only the top 5% of lawyers in Illinois are eligible.

John is a longtime member of the Saint Joseph's University Law Alumni Chapter, and was one of about two dozen alumni to be admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in March, 2005. He hosted a reception for President Timothy R. Lannon, S.J. at the Union League Club of Chicago during Father Lannon's nationwide Inaugural Tour.

John is a member of the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago, which sponsors scholarships in local Catholic High Schools. He is a former volunteer, trainer and advisory board member of the Partners Program at the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago. He also served on the advisory board of the former Chicago regional chapter of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.

John and his wife Kathleen reside in Park Ridge, IL where he is a former lector, Eucharistic Minister and R.C.I.A. sponsor at his local parish.
