Curriculum for the
 BA in Biology

The Department of Biology offers a BA degree in Biology through the University College, the division of SJU responsible for continuing education and evening programs.  The BA program is targeted at returning or part-time students who wish to pursue a Bachelors degree in Biology but cannot do so in the day program.  As this degree program is offered through the University College, rather than the College of Arts & Sciences, there are some differences in the requirements in both the General Education Courses and the Biology Major courses.  An outline of the curriculum is provided below.  For more information, please contact Dr. Paul Tefft, Associate Professor and Chair of the Biology Department.  You can reach him by e-mail at ptefft@sju.edu or by phone at (610)660-1827.
