SJU hosted a baseball, family and alumni day on the new Maguire campus fields.

The sixth annual candlelight homicide remembrance vigil was held in the chapel on April 26, 2012 in memory of the 324 homicide victims who lost their lives in 2011. Read more here.

The annual Celebration of Student Achievement poster session was held on April 26th in Campion, which showcased student scholarly work across campus. Read more about CSA here.

SJU students and faculty alike merged with the community of Philadelphia to celebrate Global Community Day 2012 on April 21st. It’s a memorable experience and a great opportunity to become involved with community service.

Saturday, April 16th was SJU’s annual Hand in Hand event, an festival held in Hagan Arena for people in the Philadelphia community with disabilities. Click on the link to find out more about the campus organization and watch a two part film about the background of Hand in Hand.

A formal dedication ceremony of he Cardinal Foley Campus Center was held on Monday, April 16th. The naming was made possible by a generous leadership gift from SJU alumnus Michael J. Morris ’56. Read more here and here.
