Career Development hosts an orientation meeting for the on-campus interviewing program, in which employers visit campus to interview seniors for jobs available after graduation. Seniors must attend one of these sessions to be eligible for participation in on-campus interviewing. Lunch included for sessions at 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

All are invited to attend a special ceremony to honor the longtime service of James W. Moore, S.J. by rededicating Overbrook Hall in his honor. Fr. Moore, who retired in May after 45 years on Hawk Hill, touched the lives of thousands of students, faculty and staff during his tenure. He began his career as director of admissions and later spent 30 years as the associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to regular shuttle service to and from the Overbrook campus, an additional shuttle will be available to take faculty and staff to the dedication ceremony, departing from the parking area next to Wolfington Hall at 2:30 p.m. and returning after the reception. Please RSVP for the reception to Rocco Spinelli.

The Amethyst Initiative is a controversial movement that calls for "informed and unimpeded debate on the 21 year-old drinking age." Saint Joseph's faculty members Dr. George Dowdall, Dr. Linda Lelii, Dr. Tony Cardoso, and SJU student Kathleen Hunt will share their thoughts on the legal drinking age, followed by a question and answer period. Pizza will be provided.
