Scholarships (return to top)

Cap and Bells Dramatic Arts Society drama scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis to current students and incoming freshman, based upon performance auditions or technical theatre interviews. Awards range in amount and are determined by the faculty Artistic Directors.

Each student who receives an award is required to participate as a performer or on a running crew of (2) university productions per year, as assigned by the Artistic Directors. Awards may be increased or decreased each year based upon the amount of service the student provides with the Cap and Bells Dramatic Arts Society in the theatre productions program. Students must re-apply on a yearly basis.

Cap and Bells accepts applications until March 1 of the previous year, after which the SJU Office of Financial Aid notifies recipients of their award information. Scholarship forms will be available in the Spring semester.
