Answers

How do Residence Hall Programs work? (return to top)
We invite Residence Assistants to bring their residents to our shows as part of Hall Programs. If you’re an RA, make a reservation with a request for a ResLife budget transfer. You may sign for the tickets at the box office. If your residents wish to pick up their tickets individually, for security purposes we require in advance a full list of their names; they will need their student ID's at the box office.

Are the tickets assigned to specific seats? (return to top)
Yes, we have assigned seating for all of our guests, throughout the theatre.

How do I get preferred seating? (return to top)
Reserve as early as possible. Seating is organized on a first-come/first-serve basis.

When should I expect a confirmation? (return to top)
Internet reservations are processed every 24 hours. Phone reservations are processed 1-2 times per week, up until 5 days before a show, at which time they are processed every 24-48 hrs.

If you have not received a confirmation, feel free to place a second order, BUT PLEASE CLARIFY THAT IT IS A DUPLICATE. (Please be clear and precise in your original message to help us avoid problems.)

How can I edit an order I placed already? (return to top)
On our web page, place another order with your party’s name, email, and showtime. The number of tickets should reflect the new total. Then, in the "Comments" field, PLEASE SPECIFY THAT YOU ARE EDITING AN EXISTING ORDER, detailing the changes and the new totals. You can also edit orders over the phone. You will receive another confirmation that your order has been updated.

Please add on to orders 48 or more hours in advance, otherwise you may lose your preferred seating. (If the seats next to your original party have already been reserved, we will have no choice but to relocate your party.)

When is it too late to reserve tickets? (return to top)
To guarantee your reservation, please place orders 12 hours or more before a showtime.

How do I receive the tickets I reserved? (return to top)
Reserved tickets can be picked up and paid for at the box office, which opens an (1) hour before show times. In general, we do not release tickets before the box office opens, nor do we release tickets for a specific show until the night of that show.

Can I pay for the tickets online or over the phone? (return to top)
Sorry. We currently have no means of accepting credit cards or other electronic payments.

Can I pay by credit card at the box office? (return to top)
Sorry. See above.

Can I pay by check at the box office? (return to top)
Yes. Please make checks payable to Saint Joseph’s University / Cap and Bells.

Where is the box office? (return to top)
The box office is located outside Bluett Theatre in the Post Hall lobby. Post Hall is located near the corner of 56th Street and Overbrook Avenue, next to the tennis courts.
