Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures
The Language Resource Center
The Language Resource Center, open Monday-Thursday 9:00 - 9:00 and Friday 9:00 - 4:00, is located in Bellarmine 315. It houses a sizeable foreign language video collection (videos and DVDs must be viewed in the Center) as well as audio and visual material that accompanies the textbooks used in language courses. To view a list of current titles, please click here.
If you are registered for a language course, for more information on how to access the audio exercise files, click here to download the language audio files.
All beginning language courses meet in the language laboratory or the Language Resource Center once each week. Students in other language courses are encouraged to use the Language Resource Center facilities on a regular basis in order to improve their language skills. When the Language Resource Center is not being used by a class, students may come in to watch videos, listen to tapes, or complete exercises. In addition, students may use a writing resource center (Bellarmine 329), where foreign language word processing software is available.
Please direct any questions to Ms. Lindsay Dragon, the Language Resource Center Coordinator.
