Due to the expected number of participants and visitors for Commencement, parking will be limited. If you are planning to drive to campus for the ceremonies, please allow adequate time for parking.
Campus Lots
Cardinal & City Avenues: This lot, adjacent to the main tent and ceremonial staging area, will be closed during Commencement Weekend. This lot will be used exclusively for assisting handicapped individuals with arrival and seating. Security 
staff will assist cars needing access to the Cardinal Avenue lot.
** Mandeville Hall Lot (54th and City Avenues): This larger lot will be open and available for parking.
** Merion Campus Lot (City Avenue, off Lapsley Lane): This medium size lot, with spaces scattered around the McShain Residence Hall and the houses of Lapsley Lane will be open for guest parking. Please note, however, that graduates will be assembling for the Commencement procession on this side of campus.
** Shuttle service will be provided between parking lots and the main tent/ceremonial staging area.
Alternatives to Parking
In light of what promises to be a difficult parking situation, visitors are encouraged to explore alternative ways of coming to campus.
Taxi Cab Service
Several taxis are available to transport guests from area hotels to the university. Average cab fair from Main Line or Center City hotels would range from $20-30.
