Dr. Steingard’s teaching and research interests include: stakeholder management, socially responsible business, business ethics, spirituality in business, and transformational management and organizational change. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Steingard held positions as Director of Human Resources and two positions in Training and Development and Internal Consulting in the hotel and direct marketing industries. As a management consultant, Dr. Steingard has conducted leadership training programs at ACE-INA and Wawa.

Dr. Steingard has served on the Board and as Doctoral Institute Chair of the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. Currently, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Mangement Education and Journal of Organizational Change Management. Dr. Steingard also conducts workshops for and sits on the board of the Cranaleith Spiritual Center’s Work and Spirit program.

He has published articles in such outlets as the Journal of Management Inquiry and Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion. A frequent conference presenter, Dr. Steingard has presented his research at the Academy of Management,The Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference, and The International Association of Business Disciplines, both nationally and internationally.
