Boland Hall is home to both the University Gallery and the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The director of the University Gallery and Chair of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts is Dennis McNally, SJ.

DIRECTIONS

The University Gallery / Boland Hall is located on Lapsley Lane, off City Avenue in Lower Merion. Lapsley Lane is a one way street and can be accessed only through City Avenue.

 


If you are traveling SOUTH on City Avenue, Lapsley Lane is 1.9 miles from Route 76 (Schuykill Expressway). Here are a few landmarks just before Lapsley Lane: you will pass a Dunkin' Donuts on your left, then you will cross 54th St., you will pass Wendy's on the right and then come to a traffic light. At the light, turn right onto Lapsley Lane. The Gallery (Boland Hall) is the second house on the right.

If you are traveling NORTH on City Avenue, Lapsley Lane is .9 miles from Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue). Lapsley Lane is approximately 100 yards after the University's pedestrian bridge. Turn left onto Lapsley Lane. The Gallery (Boland Hall) is the second house on the right.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Septa's "65" bus stops at the corner of City Avenue and Lapsley Lane.
The "44" bus stops at the corner of City Avenue and 54th Street.
The Regional Rail R5 takes you to the Overbrook Station, located on City Avenue about a mile south of Lapsley Lane. From there you can catch the 65 bus northbound (to Germantown) to Lapsley Lane.
