Juggling work, family, school and other responsibilities can be tough. The often hectic schedules maintained by adult learners require the flexibility in course offerings that Saint Joseph’s University offers. In addition to flexible offerings, the advisors at College of Professional and Liberal Studies provide the support our students need from application to graduation. Academic advisors help demystify class schedules and degree requirements, helping students balance school with the rest of their busy lives. It is a collaborative process, that puts you — the student — in control of your educational experience.

Adult undergraduate education at Saint Joseph’s has a long history and storied tradition since 1915. Even though we have had several names over our nearly 100-year history—the Night School, the Evening College, the University College—adult undergraduate education at Saint Joseph’s has always focused on the professional educational needs of the adult student, and the College of Professional and Liberal Studes continues in that tradition.
