- The SJU Chapter held its 27th Annual New Member Induction Ceremony on April 25, 2006.
- The Chapter is co-sponsoring a Panel Discussion on Evolution and Darwin’s Era, as part of the Inherit the Wind SJU Reads Program, on Tuesday, September 19, from 11:30 - 1:00 in room 200 Science Center.

- The 2008 Student Research Symposium will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008. Prof. Jerry P. Gollub from Haverford College will be the keynote speaker and recipient of the annual Chistopher Clavius award.
