All first-year HSB students (freshman and transfer) are required to attend an HSB Advising 101 session. These sessions are facilitated by the Advising Center Staff and cover essential topics including academic planning for the General Education Requirement (GER), course selection and on-line registration procedures, and an introduction to special programs, resources, and academic opportunities available at SJU.
Sessions will begin early in the fall semester (September - November). For the general population, students are automatically assigned to a session based on last name. Special sessions are scheduled for the groups listed below. If you are not a member of any of the groups listed, you will be scheduled to participate in a general HSB Advising meeting.
