Society's Scholarship
Program allows every Beta Gamma Sigma chapter meeting certain criteria to
award a $1,000 BGS scholarship to one of its student members. Since 1988, the
Society and its member deans have awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to
outstanding student members. If you are a student member, check with your
faculty advisor to see if your school participates in this important program. Alumni Network alumni chapter program One
of the Society's most exciting programs is the ever-expanding Alumni Network
Program. With an alumni network that now stretches across the entire country,
this program adds great value to the lifetime membership. Located in major
metropolitan areas, members have the opportunity to hear business professionals
from their areas as guest speakers, panel discussion participants, and
individuals interested in networking. This is a great opportunity to meet and
network with others who have earned lifetime membership in the Society. For

here. Student Leadership Forum One
of the newest BGS programs is the Student Leadership Forum. The first Forum was
held in January 2001 and welcomed 56 extraordinary student members from chapters
across the country. This program, designed to help student members maximize
their career and personal potential, was an unqualified success in its first
year. The BGS Board of Governors has authorized funding for the Forum for 2002,
and if you are a student member you should check with your faculty advisor to
see if your chapter can participate. BetaLink On-Line Community
This on-line community contains an
impressive package of free, members-only features that add tremendous value to
the BGS lifetime membership. From free web space, to email address and
forwarding, to the searchable on-line directory, there is something for
everyone. Participate in the timely and thought-provoking polls/surveys on
current business topics. Look to advance your career - or hire a Beta Gamma
Sigma member - in the Career Center. Discuss current events or business topics
on our Message Boards and On-Line Chats. Check back often, because the BetaLink
On-Line Community continues to grow. Lifelong Learning through BGS News The
Society publishes the BGS
News two times per year with distribution to nearly 300,000 members. The
newsletter keeps members informed of the Society's activities and provides
lifelong learning opportunities for the Society's membership through articles
addressing current business topics. |
