Membership Requirement

  • Juniors:Top 7% of your class

  • Seniors:Top 10% of your class

  • Masters:Top 20% of your class

  • All Ph.D's eligible

  Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest national
  recognition a student in business can receive in an
  undergraduate, master's or doctoral program at a school
  accredited by AACSB-The International Association for
  Management Education. Of the 1,400 institutions with degree
  programs in business, less than 360 are accredited by AACSB
  and have chapters ofBeta Gamma Sigma

 Undergraduate/Master's Requirements

  To be eligible for membership, the academic ranking of those
  being considered must place them in the upper 7 percent of the
  junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper
  20 percent of the graduating master's class.

 Doctoral Requirements

  To qualify as a doctoral student, a candidate must have
  successfully completed all requirements for the doctoral degree.

  Administration, Faculty and Research Staff

  Members of the administration, faculty and research staff in the
  Haub School of Business may be inducted to active membership
  without restriction to number, but not until attainment of tenure at
  Saint Joseph’s University.For those faculty where tenure is not
  applicable, invitation to membership may be extended
  after the individual has completed six years of such work
  at Saint Joseph's University.
