Getting to know Dave ...

Favorite thing about reading applications?
I really enjoy reading applications from students that I have met at high school visits and on campus events. Being able to go through the admissions process with students is a rewarding opportunity. It's also great to see those students attend SJU and grow during their time here on campus.

Favorite experience at SJU?
My favorite experience at SJU was participating as an adult facilitator for the 2010 Summer Immersion Program to Duran, Ecuador. Doing service with SJU students internationally allowed me to get to know the great students we have on campus while giving back to the global community. I hope to participate in another Summer Immersion Program in the coming years!

What would you do over again from your college experience, if you had the chance?
I would definitely study abroad in South America, if I could do it all over. I would love to become fluent in Spanish and that would have been a great way to do so. Study abroad, don't regret it as I do!

Why did you decide to study Psychology as your major?
I studied Psychology during my undergraduate career. It's a great major to go on to any field, which was one of the advantages. I use what I learned almost every day and it has been a great stepping stone for my career in Admissions and my current graduate program in global and international education.
