PowerPoint Slides

Viewing/Downloading PowerPoint Presentations from Blackboard

  1. Log onto MySJU.
  2. Click My Courses tab to view courses that you are currently attending.
  3. Click on desired class to access Blackboard.
  4. Click on location of PowerPoint Presentation (usually under "Course Documents" or "Assignments"; if unsure please ask your professor)
  5. You should see a listing of available PowerPoint presentations.
  6. Click on desired PowerPoint Presentation. A "File Download" window will appear giving you the option to either "Open" or "Save" the PowerPoint Presentation.
  7. To view the presentation from within Blackboard, click "Open".
  8. To download the presentation to a floppy disk or your J: Drive for later viewing, click "Save".
    1. A "Save As" window will appear where you can choose the location where you will save the Powerpoint Presentation.
    2. Select desired location and click the Save button.

Printing PowerPoint Presentations 6 slides per page

  1. If you are viewing the presentation from within MySJU or Blackboard, simply RIGHT click the current slide and click Print...
  2. A "Print" window will appear giving you several print options.
  3. Under the heading "Print what:", select Handouts.
  4. Next to the heading "Slides per page:", select 6 to print the maximum number of slides per page or 3 to print lines for additional notes.
  5. Click OK to initiate printing.

OR

  1. If you are viewing the presentation from within the Microsoft PowerPoint application, simply click File and then Print...
  2. A "Print" window will appear giving you several print options.
  3. Under the heading "Print what:", select Handouts.
  4. Next to the heading "Slides per page:", select 6 to print the maximum number of slides per page or 3 to print lines for additional notes.
  5. Click OK to initiate printing.
