(X) Close Window Bioinformatics - 4 credits Course Description:  Students will learn about important scienctific questions and the contemporary computational tools used to answer them.  Topics include genome sequence assembly and annotation, database mining, similarity searching, multiple sequence alignment, motif prediction, modeling, genome organization, phylogentic analysis, and genetics of human disease.
