(X) Close Window Bio 163    Unseen Life on Earth -- Honors Unseen Life on Earth is an honors course in microbiology aimed at non-science majors. It will count as a natural science course in the GER. The course will emphasize the positive aspects of microorganisms and their role in the every- day events of humans. In addition, the negative impact that microorganisms have on the world around us, such as disease and bioterrorism, will be explored. The course will include a two-hour laboratory each week in which students will learn how to safely handle microorganisms.
