Name:  Elyse Hauser
Year:  2015
Major or Graduate Program:  Writing Studies Graduate Program
Hometown:  I currently live in Philadelphia, but am from Olympia, WA originally.
What is your biggest writing challenge:  I always struggle for the right amount of clarity and conciseness.  For me, revising is generally a process of taking words out, rather than putting words in.

Name:  Jordan Heil
Year:  First Year Graduate Student
Major:  Writing Studies
Hometown:  Dover, OH
What are your plans for the future?  I think I’d like to travel, write a book or two, and work as an editor. When I’m ready, I might retreat to the country with my dogs: drop out of life and write like Salinger. But until then, I’m just casting a wide net and waiting to see what life turns up.

Name:  Scott Lasley
Year:  First Year Graduate Student
Major:  Writing Studies
Hometown:  Loami, IL
What is your biggest writing challenge?  My biggest writing challenge comes when I have to begin a piece. I struggle with beginnings every single time.

Name:  Mary Beth Peabody
Year:  2015
Major:  Writing Studies
Hometown:  Ardmore, PA
What is your favorite place on campus and why?  Since my classes are at night, I don’t spend much time on campus, but some days I come in and spend several hours on the top floor of Post. I get one of those little tables on wheels and set it up so I can look out the window.

Name:  Vincent Ybarra
Year:  2015
Major or Graduate Program:  Experimental Psychology
Hometown:  Greeley, CO
What is your favorite place on campus and why?  I love the gym; nothing is better than a good work out (other than, perhaps, a good book).
