Below are the typical recommended course sequences for the programs housed within the Department of Mathematics. These sequences presume that the student enters as a freshman, without needing special background courses (such as Precalculus) or without advanced placement in mathematics or computer science. Students who change their major to mathematics from a different major should consult the department chairperson about sequencing of courses.
Course sequence recommendations for classes graduating in 2013 or earlier are also available.

(2) 4-year Math Ed: Mathematics major with a secondary education minor and secondary mathematics certification
(3) 5-year Math Ed: Mathematics major combined with an MS in Math Eductation
