Semester Internships Abroad and in Washington, D.C.

Something's Brewing In Belgium (2012)

Junior International Relations major Annie Betz is studying in Leuven, Belgium for the Spring 2012 semester and is an intern for a Czech member of the European Union Parliament in Brussels.  As an intern, Annie edits draft legislation, writes resolutions, participates in delegation meetings, and gives briefings.  As she navigates cobblestone streets, adjusts to her class/internship schedule, and explores her new surroundings, Annie

Junior Political Science Major Alyssa Ryan is studying in London for the Spring 2010 semester. In the summer of 2009, Alyssa worked as an intern in the Mayor's Office in the City of Philadelphia. As part of her Semester in London, Alyssa is an intern with Karen Buck, MP. From packing her bags, enduring flight delays due to snowstorms, to settling into her flat and attending classes, Alyssa is chronicling her journey.
