Public Administration Program

Welcome to the Public Administration Program

The Public Administration Program combines courses in public policy, political science, and general management to provide a broad-based, interdisciplinary learning within the Jesuit educational commitment of service with and for others.  The goal is to give the student a value-based framework for analysis and critical thinking on issues and challenges facing society, and the role government can and should have in their solution.  Considerable emphasis is placed on current events and the various physical, demographic, economic, legal, political, and socio-cultural factors that influence policy-making and service delivery in the Public Sector.

Further, the program aims to give the student a solid foundation in policy analysis and management areas such as human resources, accounting, finance, and reformation systems to prepare for a career in government service, law, or related fields as well as further graduate level education.
