Radiologic Sciences
For students who are interested in careers in radiologic imaging, Jefferson offers two bachelor degree tracks – the two-year Multicompetency program and the one-year Advanced Placement program. Each prepares students to work in many different imaging areas including:
- Cardiac Sonography
- Computed Tomography
- General Sonography
- Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Medical Dosimetry
- Nuclear Medicine
- Radiation Therapy
- Radiography
- Vascular Sonography
For detailed descriptions of each of these programs along with a list of prerequisite courses, visit the Jefferson website
High school students who are considering Radiologic Sciences must apply to both schools using separate applications for admission – a PACE application to Thomas Jefferson and the regular freshman application to Saint Joseph’s. Current SJU students who wish to pursue this option can apply for a seat in the program at the end of freshman year. Please consult with Mrs. O’Hara for more information about applying to these programs.
