Saint Joseph’s University’s Interdisciplinary Doctor of Education Program for Educational Leaders (IDEPEL) offers a dynamic environment of academic preeminence and practical learning that provides an unparalleled educational experience for educational leaders in all fields. Through rigorous coursework, practicum field experience, and Jesuit values, the program prepares individuals to become strong and effective leaders in challenging educational environments.

During this annual conference, current and previous IDEPEL students will engage the IDEPEL community and the larger education community in conversations regarding their experiences and understanding of being scholar-practitioners.

The First Annual IDEPEL Conference will feature:

  • Poster presentations by Cohort VIII doctoral candidates on their chosen practicum or research projects, and 
  • A moderated panel discussion among six alumni from Cohorts I through VI on post-IDEPEL scholar-practitioner experiences
