During the Summer of 2010, Kim Nguyen conducted Summer Scholars Research in biochemistry on the oxygen sensing FixL heme protein under the supervision of Dr. Mark Reynolds of the Department of Chemistry. Corinna Nöel worked on an internship in applied mathematics in upstate NY, studying hydroelectric power generation. Molly Southwell worked on rare, exotic and endangered animal species as a Summer Scholar in Dr. Scott McRobert's animal behavior laboratory in the Department of Biology.
