BIO 404 Biochemistry (3 credits)

An introduction to the chemistry of living systems. The study of important macromolecules, metabolic pathways, and control systems will be emphasized.

Prerequisites: general chemistry and organic chemistry; second semester organic chemistry may be taken concurrently. Two seventy-five minute lecture periods. Prerequisites: BIO 201, CHM 125, CHM 210.
