CHN 102 Beginning Chinese II (4 credits)
Proficiency-based instruction will encourage the development of speaking and listening comprehension, with some focus on understanding Chinese characters. Instruction of basic grammar and pronunciation will accompany active student participation in task-oriented group work in the classroom. This course is aimed at developing the novice mid/high level according to ACTFL – American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
Prerequisite: CHN 101 or equivalent.
