MKT 501 Marketing Concepts (3 credits)
This course offers a thorough review of basic marketing theory and practice. Topics include the various roles of marketing within our economic society and in organizations, the marketing process, the marketing environment, the process of developing marketing strategies and programs, new product development, marketing research, the concept of customer value, the critical process of targeting, segmentation, and positioning, and the marketing mix variables.
