PSY 207 Cognitive Neuroscience (3 credits)

This course will introduce students to the emerging interdisciplinary field of cognitive neuroscience.  Students will learn methodological and investigative techniques and strategies used in research in cognitive neuroscience. Students will be also exposed to current research in psychophysiology and neuroradiology that further understanding of behaviors such as attention, perception, learning and memory, language, reasoning, and consciousness. Prerequisites: A declared Behavioral Neuroscience minor, or the permission of the director of the Behavioral Neuroscience minor; and PSY 361. (This course is an elective that can also be used to satisfy the requirements of the Behavioral

Neuroscience minor. Prerequisites: PSY 100 or PSY 101.)
