The Criminal Justice and Public Safety Institute, housed in the University’s sociology department, offers graduate programs in criminal justice, public safety management, homeland security and environmental protection safety management; and supports scholarly research, host symposia, and maintains a long-standing tradition of providing prevention efforts and outreach in the community.
