Northeast Business & Economics Association

NBEA 2011 - Philadelphia

NBEA Statement of Purpose
The Northeast Business & Economics Association, Inc., formerly the New England Business and Economics Association, was founded in 1973.

The NBEA's mission is:

  • To promote multidisciplinary research pertaining to business and economics; and
  • To improve communications and to encourage the exchange of research, both applied and theoretical, among all interested parties.

These broad purposes are met by the continuance of an annual meeting and the publication of The Journal of Business & Economic Studies (JBES).

The JBES is published by the Townsend School of Business at Dowling College.
